Making what you can work

My one resolution for 2019 is to blog once a month and once again, I missed my 15th deadline. Guess I dragged too much baggage across that hopeful, magical and semi-pristine line we pretend marks the end of one year and the beginning of the next. So here's some easy to keep resolutions for this auspicious new year. They're easy, can be ignored at will, added to or subtracted from and best of all make one feel really accomplished! Inspired creativity to you all! Pam B. Morris

2010 Make Believe Resolutions

1. Pretend as often as you can get away with.
2. Pretend all your written words are gold piling up in some bank vault.
3. Pretend spring starts tomorrow (and the sun always shines).
4. Pretend you're as beautiful, stacked, sexy and smart as any heroine.
5. Pretend winter weight gain is all in your head, i.e. your extraordinary brain.
6. Pretend you don't have to wait for "all good things to come".
7. Pretend The Force is with you… always.
8. Pretend a "roll in the hay" trumps "saving pennies for a rainy day."
9. Pretend to write with the wit of Shakespeare, the insight of Dickens and the charm of Austen.
10. Pretend my straightjacket isn't too small and forever pinching me.

I love this, Pam! The wit of Shakespeare! If only I could escape the writing of the University and sink into the writing of my heart. One day. One day soon!!! I'm almost done.

Love this.

All-too-often, I write with the vaguery of Shakespeare, the long-wind of Dickens, and the complexity of Austen...

not good when in combination with one another. :-)

May the Force Be with You...
